Police are reminding residents to take simple precautions following a small number of recent overnight break and enter incidents in the Strathfield area.
Offending has generally occurred in the early hours of the morning, with offenders targeting unsecured homes, garages, and vehicles, often to access car keys.
How you can help protect your property:
• Lock all doors, windows, and garages—even when at home
• Keep car keys out of sight and away from entry points
• Ensure vehicles are locked at all times
• Consider using external lighting or alarms
There is no need for alarm, however these simple steps can significantly reduce the risk of opportunistic crime.
If you see any suspicious activity, please report it to police.
For emergencies call 000.
For non-urgent matters contact 131 444.

We recently participated in a community discussion organised by Cultural Diversity Network Incorporated- CDNI with newly arrived women from South Asian and Afghan communities about domestic violence awareness and the support services available in Auburn.
A big thank you to our Tamil and Dari interpreters for helping create a welcoming and engaging space for conversation, enabling newly arrived migrants better understand our role, the services available and where to seek help when needed💙.

🚔National Road Safety Week 🚓
Do you own, or are you thinking about getting an e-scooter 🛴 or e-bike 🚲?
Do you know which ones are legal and how to ride them safely?
Working in partnership with the Road Safety Team from Cumberland City Council, we showcased different types of e-bikes and e-scooters to help educate our community about safe and legal riding practices.
It was wonderful to see so many kids and families taking part in the quiz and testing their knowledge on road safety.
