Changing someone else’s building plans doesn’t necessarily make them your own. 🏠✏️
Even if a client paid for the original plans or only wants a few changes, they may not have the right to reproduce or modify the design.
Before starting work:
✅ Confirm who created and owns the plans
✅ Request written permission or evidence of the client’s rights
✅ Document your independent design process
✅ Pause if the source of the plans is unclear
