Our Outdoor Wellbeing Area is still in its finishing stages, and it is really starting to take shape! 🌿

Work is now underway on the top tier, with its makeover well and truly underway. The new turf, landscaping and planting are transforming the space into a welcoming area for our students, staff and visitors to enjoy.

Our wellbeing area is looking fantastic! Work had continued over the holidays, resulting in a wonderful space for everyone to enjoy.

We now have a four-hole golf area on the top tier, which is a great addition to the space.

There are just a few finishing touches left to complete before the area is fully ready.

We look forward to sharing the finished space with everyone soon!

Students from Batlow Central School actively participated in the inaugural Snowy Valleys School Engagement Session held on Thursday. The event provided a platform for young people to collaborate and share ideas on how to make Batlow more engaging for youth in the area.

During the session, students worked alongside Peter from Red Cross to brainstorm initiatives aimed at improving opportunities and amenities for local youth. Key topics of discussion included the need for better transport options to enable youth to attend events in neighbouring towns, the introduction of food vans in Batlow, and the availability of water fountains throughout the town.

All students were highly engaged throughout the session and expressed enthusiasm for continuing the conversation.

The group is eagerly anticipating the next engagement session, which will be hosted at another school in the Snowy Valleys region.

Our secondary students enjoyed celebrating their Platinum Level achievement with a well-deserved party! 🎉

It was a wonderful way to recognise their hard work, positive behaviour and achievements throughout Term 3.

Congratulations to all students who reached Platinum Level — a fantastic effort and a great way to finish the term! 🌟
