🌈 GEM & COLOUR FUN RUN DAY! 🌈

What an amazing day filled with energy, excitement, reflection and gratitude! 💛

Today, our students embraced the spirit of GEM – Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness, taking time to reflect on the things that matter most and the importance of looking after ourselves and others.

Our students enjoyed participating in an engaging online workshop at school, while our Year 5/6 students had the wonderful opportunity to join Exeter Primary School students to meet and learn from Hugh van Cuylenburg, founder of The The Resilience Project.

We then topped off the day with a burst of colour, laughter and fun at our Colour Fun Run! 🌈🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A fabulous day celebrating wellbeing, connection, gratitude and the joy of being together! 💛💚💙

Thank you to members of our School Association, volunteers and Beaconsfield Fire Brigade for supporting the wonderful fundraising effort.

Some minor works completed by Tassie Artificial Turf over the holidays have transformed the outdoor undercover area for our Prep–Year 2 students. Students have loved spending time in this inviting space—a lovely spot to play, learn and connect with friends!

🌿 Our Prep–Year 2 students enjoyed a marvellous incursion with Forestry Education, bringing our HASS and Science learning to life!

Through interactive, hands-on activities, students explored and asked questions, building their understanding of forests and our connections to the natural world.

Thank you to Forestry Education for an engaging learning experience that sparked curiosity and wonder! 🌳

Our Year 5/6 students are excited to be part of this opportunity! Thank you Exeter Primary School

Tomorrow we are excited to be hosting Hugh van Cuylenburg from The Resilience Project as a part of GEM Day. Hugh will be presenting to our school and grade 5-6s from Beaconsfield Primary School as a part of a special assembly. This is an invite only event as we have limited space. Exeter Primary School students will also participate in a range of activities set up by The Resilience Project. Coles Supermarket will be supplying fruit and water for recess for our students. An exciting day for our school!
