Golden Square Pool We're more than just a place to swim, with classes, a Community Garden, murals, events, music, volunteering program and more - something for everyone.

Golden Square’s beating heart - three pools, murals, shade, grass, festivals, doggo swimming, good retro vibes, run by 90+ local volunteers ☀️🏊🏻‍♂️

Opened in 1918, saved by people power in 2013/2018/2020, Victoria’s Seasonal Pool of the Year in 2023 💙 In 2013, the Golden Square community successfully campaigned to reopen their local swimming pool - and have since transformed it into a vibrant community space for all. The site was originally known as Golden Square Baths, and first opened in 1918.

Every ticket helps fund our new roof and solar panels, an investment that will help secure the pool for the next generation.

Have you been thinking about volunteering with us this summer? Well, we’re now looking for new locals to join our team! ☀️

We've got a brilliant, active and engaged volunteer team here at the Square, and we'd love you to be a part of it.

You can take part in cool things such as working in the kiosk, helping out at events, grounds and maintenance, admin and chipping in where it's needed. Many hands make light work!

Our Junior Volunteer Program also means that kids can volunteer with their parents/grandparents/trusted adult - a fun summer activity.
