Most people don't picture a Year 9 student spending part of their school holidays rehearsing at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.

That is exactly where Vika found herself earlier this month.

After being selected for the State Honours Ensemble Program (Vocal), Vika joined talented young singers from across Queensland for four days of intensive rehearsals before performing in the final concert on 4 October.

She was placed in the Malcolm Williamson Vocal Ensemble, led by renowned Australian conductor and educator Jonathon Welch.

It's easy to look at an achievement like this and focus on the performance. What we love is everything that happened before it.

The courage to audition.

The willingness to spend holidays learning.

The opportunity to work alongside students who share the same passion.

These experiences help young people understand that their interests can take them further than they might have imagined.

Congratulations, Vika. We can't wait to see where your music journey leads next.

Some students already have a plan for life after school.

Most are still figuring it out.

That's why opportunities to explore different pathways matter.

If you've ever been curious about Air Force Cadets, this Information Session and Open Night is a chance to learn what the program involves, meet current members and ask questions before deciding if it's something you'd like to pursue.

One team having a strong tournament can happen.

When four teams across different age groups and divisions all compete hard on the same day, you start to see the strength of the program behind them.

🏉 13 Boys – 6th in pool
🏉 13 Girls – 3rd in pool
🏉 15 Boys – 3rd in pool
🏉 15 Girls (A Division) – 5th in pool

Every team brought energy, effort and plenty of school pride.

A huge congratulations to all of our players and coaches. We loved watching the way you backed each other and embraced the challenge throughout the competion 🕷❤️

When people hear "school event", they often assume it's only for parents. The Beyond Benowa Network Breakfast is different.

It's for anyone who wants to connect with good people, hear new ideas and spend an hour investing in themselves and their community.

Join us on Friday 6 November at Southport Yacht Club as we bring together local business owners, parents, community members and school partners for a relaxed morning of conversation and learning.

You'll hear practical social media strategies that can help you strengthen your online presence and connect more effectively with your audience. If you've ever wondered whether your social media efforts are actually reaching the right people, you're not alone. Dr Vishal Mehrotra will unpack the strategies that are working right now and share practical ways to strengthen your online presence without spending hours creating content.

Expect useful insights, honest conversations, and plenty of opportunities to connect with others across our community.

You don't need to know anyone to attend.

Just come along, enjoy some breakfast and join the conversation.

For some people, a round of golf is competition.

For others, it's four hours of conversation interrupted occasionally by a golf shot.

Up for grabs in our Silent Auction is a round of golf at RACV Royal Pines Resort, giving one lucky bidder the chance to enjoy one of the Gold Coast's premier courses.

Their bid will also help support the creation of a facility that benefits students across our school, from athletes developing their performance to learners building body awareness and self-regulation skills through BLIPP.

That's a pretty good return on one afternoon.

Good design has a funny way of changing a room. One quality piece can bring a space together and become something you use every day without giving it much thought.

Our Silent Auction includes a beautiful Scaleno Side Table donated by Trovato that would make a stunning addition to any home.

Beyond its value as a prize, every bid contributes to a project centred on student wellbeing, growth and opportunity through the development of a dedicated gym facility.

A stylish addition to your home. A meaningful contribution to our students.
