With late spring/early summer comes a bit of unpredictability in the weather. In order to ensure the books in the street library remain in good condition, the door may be closed, but it doesn't mean you can't browse, select something to read, or buy some eggs.
Also, Barbara Kingsolver's "The Lacuna" is a fantastic read. It follows the diaries of Harrison Shepherd, his friendship with Frida Kahlo and her contemporaries, and explores how love is expressed. Beautifully written, it is a pleasure to immerse yourself within.
