Making an appearance on our local beaches are hundreds of Bluebottles or Pacific Man-of-War.
While not deadly the sting is incomfortable but does subside.

Try to avoid and if stung apply hot water or ice!

If stung by a bluebottle, you may experience the following symptoms:

A bluebottle sting typically causes pain right away. The pain is usually quite severe.
A red line is often visible, a sign of where the te****le touched the skin. The line, which may look like a string of beads, will usually swell and become itchy.
Sometimes, blisters form where the te****le came in contact with skin.
The size of the wound and the severity of symptoms depend on how much contact the te****le had with the skin.
