🚌 APPLY FOR FREE SCHOOL BUS TRAVEL IN 2027

Is your child starting high school or changing schools in 2027? Applications are now open for the School Transport Assistance Scheme (STAS), which provides eligible students with free school bus travel.

We strongly recommend applying now. Applications need to be assessed and verified by the Department of Transport and Main Roads, and this can take some time, particularly during the back-to-school rush.

If your child’s travel has not been verified before they commence travel in 2027, they will be required to pay the applicable fare until confirmation is received.

Beat the back-to-school rush and tick one thing off your to-do list now! ✅

📝 How to apply
Simply Google "STAS Application” or apply online here:
https://stas.forms.tmr.qld.gov.au/content/forms/af/TranslinkForms/STASApplication/STASApplication.html

All eligibility requirements are listed on the STAS website.
