🔥 Firefighters Remembrance Day 🔥
Today we pause to remember and honour the firefighters who have made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting their communities.
We remember those who never came home, those who carry their legacy, and the families who continue to live with their loss.
To every firefighter who stands ready to protect others — thank you for your courage, your service and your sacrifice.
We remember. We honour. We will never forget.
❤️‍🔥 Lest We Forget.

🔥 EAST BOORAL RFB – FIRE SAFETY REMINDER 🔥

We’re starting to see fire permit suspensions in neighbouring LGA areas, and with conditions around our local area drying out rapidly, now is the time to take extra care.

While restrictions may not currently be in place in our area, conditions can change quickly and fire restrictions may not be far away.

⚠️ If you have a current fire permit, please ensure you:
• Check the conditions of your permit before lighting
• Monitor weather and wind conditions
• Have adequate water and firefighting equipment available
• Never leave a fire unattended
• Ensure your fire is completely extinguished before leaving

🔥 SPARKS CAN START FIRES TOO!

Please take extra care when using:
• Grinders and cutting equipment
• Mowers and whipper snippers
• Welding equipment
• Other machinery capable of creating sparks or heat

A small spark in dry grass can quickly become a serious fire.

📱 STAY INFORMED

For the most up-to-date information on current fire warnings, incidents and restrictions, head to the Queensland Fire Department website and keep an eye on local updates.

Please stay alert, stay informed and help us keep our community safe. 🚒

💛 R U OK? DAY — THURSDAY 10 SEPTEMBER 💛

Today, East Booral Rural Fire Brigade reminds everyone that a simple question can make a big difference.

🔥 R U OK?

Behind every uniform, every call-out and every busy day is a person — and sometimes people just need someone to stop, listen and ask how they’re really going.

Take a moment today to check in with your mates, family, workmates and fellow volunteers.

👋 Ask the question.
👂 Take the time to listen.
💬 Keep the conversation going.
❤️ Let them know they’re not alone.

For our emergency service family, looking after each other is just as important as looking after our community.

You don’t have to be an expert to make a difference. Sometimes, simply asking “Are you OK?” is enough to start an important conversation.

💛 East Booral Rural Fire Brigade — looking after our community, and looking after each other.

For any of the youth in the area interested great opportunity for those interested in a volunteer or career within the emergency services.

If you’re flying a drone near a bushfire, that means our aircraft can’t.

Our crews often need to fly lower than the usual, which means they may be grounded if drones are operating in the area.

We know fires can look impressive from above, but please keep the skies clear so our aerial firefighting units can do what they do best.
