It has been a busy weekend for Booral RFS - starting with power lines down at the local servo and then off to a bush fire near Girvan yesterday. Today we teamed up with Limeburners Creek Rural Fire Brigade and Stroud Rural Fire Brigade to meet at Wards River RFS Brigade for a combined training day. We practiced using our skills learnt at Gloucester a few weeks ago, getting more up to date with technology that is available ahead of the upcoming fire season. Thankyou to Wards River RFS and our Group Captain Jason Kellner for hosting such a great training event and a delicious bbq lunch!

Update from today. Crews will be monitoring conditions tonight, so please ensure you give way to RFS vehicles in the area. And please only call 000 if you see an unattended fire. Thank you to Stroud Rural Fire Brigade and Bulahdelah RFB for all of their help today and our group Captain Jason Kellner and Sebastian for bringing out lunch 🙂
