🚨 𝗦𝗺𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 🚨

This June, we're joining DFES and communities across Australia for Smoke Alarm Action Day – because only working smoke alarms save lives.

Take a few moments today to:

✅ Test your smoke alarms
✅ Replace batteries if needed
✅ Check expiry dates (most alarms last around 10 years)
✅ Make sure everyone in the home knows what to do if an alarm sounds

Working smoke alarms provide early warning and can make all the difference in an emergency.

Test it. Don’t guess. 🔥🏠

A massive thank you to all the volunteers in the community. Without you all emergency services, sporting events, community groups wouldn't exist and the community would be far worse off.

Happy National Volunteer Week to all the incredible volunteers across Australia!

From our volunteer emergency services to all the local community groups and individuals, thank you for the time, dedication and support you give to helping others. Your hard work and commitment make a difference every day 🧡
