PERIOD SWIMWEAR...

A topic which has come up of late, so here's some info on them...

Period swimwear is specially designed to absorb menstrual flow while preventing pool or ocean water from entering, so many people can swim without using tampons. Australian brands like Modibodi, Eco Period, Azure Belle, and Funkita offer styles for teens and women, including bikinis, one-pieces, and swim shorts.

These swimsuits use multiple layers:
*a moisture-absorbing layer,
*an absorbent core,
*and a waterproof outer layer.

They work best for light-to-moderate periods or as backup protection with a menstrual cup. For best results, the swimsuit should fit snugly and be rinsed and washed carefully after use.
