If you're thinking that some of these tote bags look familiar, you're right! These are the results of our wonderful volunteers who have drawn, cut and sewn all year to transform our Council flags into beautiful, usable bags.

If you are interested in volunteering your time, we are looking for support in cutting, preparing, and sewing the kits into finished bags. Your time and skills make a meaningful and sustainable impact and will be greatly appreciated by services like Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and other food relief organisations. All skill levels welcome!

Date: Fridays, ongoing

Join us for Truth, listening and action: A community panel, as part of National Reconciliation Week.

This important conversation brings together First Nations voices, community leaders and Council to reflect on what reconciliation means in practice – and why truth-telling, listening and action must sit at its heart.

Hear directly from speakers sharing lived experience, explore the role of listening in meaningful change, and take part in a shared community reflection on how we move forward together.

This is a chance to pause, listen deeply and be part of a conversation that matters.
