Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb 2026

On Saturday the 12th of September, four of our members - Archie, Brianna, Brendan and Kevin took part in the Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb at the Crown Metropol. For Archie and Kevin, this was their first time taking part in the event.

The event involves climbing 28 floors in 25kg of kit, raising funds for affiliated beneficiaries such as Lifeline, 000 Foundation and the Peter Mac foundation.

Our brigade is very proud of their efforts, especially Archie, who came 3rd place overall, and second place in his age category (Male Open 18-39) with an impressive time of 4 minutes and 6 seconds! 🔥💪

Well done crew!🔥

We also recognise the important influence they have on our younger generation of future firefighters🔥 Pictured here is one of our firefighters, Kelly, with her four children, some of whom are juniors in our junior program 🚒
