Official Facebook account for the Queensland Department of Housing and Public Works' Building Division, including QBuild.
The Building for Queensland page is maintained and managed by the Department of Housing and Public Works. We work closely with other government agencies and the Queensland building construction industry to provide essential building services and facilities for Queenslanders. We develop the policies and compliance support tools so that communities and service providers across the state have access
to enhanced building facilities. Our teams build and maintain schools, hospitals, housing, police stations, correctional facilities, ambulance stations and other facilities. We also assist with looking after parks, bridges and heritage buildings across Queensland and providing homes for many doctors, nurses, police officers, teachers and other government workers stationed across the State. A critical part of our work includes providing disaster support through emergency accommodation solutions and the reconstruction and recovery of buildings. This page is monitored during regular business hours (9:00amโ5:00pm, Monday to Friday). Messages will not be responded to outside of these hours.
