We collaborate with our partners to create solutions for better healthcare.
Clinical Excellence Queensland (CEQ) works in partnership with health services, clinicians and consumers, to help drive continuous improvement, promote and spread innovation, and create a culture of service excellence across the Queensland health system. We are part of the Queensland Department of Health and work to contribute to Queensland Health's vision of Queenslanders being among the world's
healthiest people by 2026. Through established and strong relationships with clinicians, health service managers, and a number of government and private organisations, CEQ works collaboratively to optimise the capacity and efficiency of Queensland’s public hospitals. We foster innovation and research that will contribute to better quality patient care, outcomes, and health system improvement. We work collaboratively with clinicians through a range of clinical networks and the Queensland Clinical Senate and through our Centre for Leadership Excellence, deliver high-impact integrated leadership, improvement and management programs that are shaping the future leaders and innovators of our healthcare system. CEQ also monitors, analyses and supports key initiatives that improve patient safety, quality, transparency, accountability and the broader patient experience. We also lead the professional development of allied health, oral health, mental health alcohol and other drugs, and nursing and midwifery professions, and support the development, delivery and enhancement of these professions in Queensland.
