Today at Queensland Parliament House, Bruce and Denise stood alongside Premier David Crisafulli as Daniel’s Law was officially introduced to Parliament.
This landmark reform, named in honour of Daniel, will create Queensland’s first public child s*x offender register, giving families greater access to information to help keep children safe.
After more than a decade of tireless advocacy from Bruce and Denise, this moment marks a powerful step forward in putting the rights of children and families ahead of offender anonymity.

Make space for YOU today.
How are you holding up today?
It’s okay if things feel heavy, and it’s okay if they don’t.
Either way, you deserve a moment for yourself.
Take a break if you can. Do something small that helps you feel even a little more steady. This could be doing a stretch, listening to a song you love, or just sitting quietly.
Even the smallest pause can help you feel more grounded.
If you or someone you know needs support, please call Lifeline anytime on 13 11 14, or text us on 0477 13 11 14, or visit www.lifeline.org.au for our online chat service or for resources to self-manage what you’re going through. AII our crisis support services are available 24/7.
