This is so divisive - our University of Queensland indigenous staff are being granted a period of over TWO MONTHS to mourn the referendum result.

They can take a period of paid leave up 'til Christmas!

The QUT (Queensland University of Technology) have today announced that Indigenous Australian students are automatically permitted a FIVE day extension to ALL assessment work if they feel they have been affected by the referendum outcome.

Ordinarily, when you apply for an extension you must provide extenuating circumstances such as a medical issue or the death of a family member.

Now the only supporting evidence you need is to say: "I am an Indigenous Australian student".

Students do not want this division, we voted NO!
