Section Three of Fanfare today saw another four of our bands and orchestras perform.

MacGregor Strings conducted by Miss You-Jin Hong received a Platinum Award

Wind Symphony conducted by Mrs Robyn Rosewarne received a Platinum Award

Camerata conducted by Miss You-Jin Hong received a Platinum Award

Percussion Ensemble conducted by Mr Haddon Mossley received a Gold Award

We are currently accepting applications for entry into our Programs of Excellence for Year 7 2027!

MacGregor State High School has many Programs of Excellence on offer to outstanding students starting Year 7, including Academic Excellence, Music Excellence, Performing Arts Excellence (Dance or Drama), Sporting Excellence and the Volleyball Development Program.

✨ Applications for Year 7 2027 close on Friday, 7 August 2026.

These programs recognise and support students with exceptional talents and achievements. Acceptance of applications are based on merit and various examination or audition processes. Students do not have to be in our school catchment area to apply.
