You don’t need wildlife experience to work with wildlife. 🐨
We’re looking for a veterinarian to join our onsite veterinary team at Lone Pine. If you are passionate about the opportunity to work with Australian wildlife, have a strong ability to problem solve, think outside the box and adapt your knowledge, then working with us might be the role you are looking for.
Your experience could be in general or mixed practice, or another area of veterinary medicine, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll work alongside our highly experienced team caring for a diverse range of Australian wildlife, including koalas, kangaroos, wombats, reptiles, birds, with some livestock thrown in for good measure.
Wildlife experience is welcomed, but it isn’t essential. What matters most is a genuine interest and commitment to animal welfare, adaptability, working well within an experienced team, and being able to have a multilayered approach to cases which is often required in a zoo setting.
The role is available full-time or part-time, ideally four days per week.
