Touch Of Hope is back again. They will be near the front reception until around 12 or 1pm today. Come say hi Kirstin and Anita and browse through the selection books and take a few home as they are free of charge.

Touch Of Hope will now be a regular fixture on alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays at LECNA. You will find them out the front next to our reception entrance.

Touch of Hope will be back again on Wednesday next week.

Market Day Success!

What a fantastic Market Day! We’re so grateful that the rain stayed away once again. It was wonderful to see the sun shining on such a chilly morning.

A big thank you to our community for coming out and supporting our Market Day fundraiser. Your support helped make the day a great success, and we truly appreciate everyone who attended, shopped, and enjoyed the morning with us.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped with the set-up and pack-up. It takes a tremendous amount of time, effort, and teamwork behind the scenes, and we are incredibly grateful for the energy and dedication that went into making the day run so smoothly.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to our next Market Days in 2026:

Tomorrow is our Market Day. We are all set and ready to go!

We will have a FREE Jumping Castle, Fairy floss and a Bubble Machine for the kids. Come along and join in the fun.

We will also have all our usual stalls such as: Clothing, Jewellery, Bric-a-Brack, LECNA Garden, Enchanting Succus, Springwood Tri-Service RSL Sub-Branch,

There will also be Coffee and hot breakfast available for purchase.

Attention stall holders:

Good morning All just a Quick reminder that it is LECNA's Market Day tomorrow, 30th May 2026.

Please read below carefully regarding setting-up and packing up on the day:

Ensure you arrive no earlier than 6:30am. Please do not start setting up until you speak with one of the LECNA staff as each stall has it's own spot.

As this is still a fundraiser for LECNA we ask that there is no competition with what we normally sell. This means we will not accept any new stall holders selling bric-a-brac, plants, hot food or second-hand clothing.

If you are selling food items – the food items must include an ingredient list and be packaged appropriately.

You must bring your own table, gazebo and sandbags (The carpark is bitumen, and gazebos must be secured properly).

Someone will be onsite from 6:30am for set up. Please have all your equipment unloaded ASAP so your car can be removed from site. For safety reasons, all cars must be removed by 7:30am. Please Park your cars in Marlane Ct, Springwood to allow shoppers to park closer.

Stall holders are not permitted to bring their vehicles back to the site prior to 11:30am. When packing up be mindful of others packing up/walking around.

Please ensure your site only takes up 3 meters x 3 meters (as we have limited room on site)

Our Market Day raffle is ready to go!!
Get your tickets for $2 each or 3 for $5.

You can buy tickets on Market Day March 30th 2026. Tickets are for sale at opposite the Brick-a-Brac Sales Desk. Eftpos is available just ask one of the Brick-a-Brac ladies to help you.

Raffle will be drawn on Saturday the 30th of March at 11.00 am. If you can’t make it to the Market Day or stay for 11am on the day don’t worry, leave your contact details and we will give you a call if you win a prize.

The Logan East Community Centre would like to thank Marion Dee Leedie and her Son TeArai for donating supplies for those effected by the recent heavy rain.

Due to the heavy rain event that we experienced across the region this week, many people who are currently experiencing homelessness have lost most of their possessions.

We are still collecting the following items so that we can get
them to the people in need:

- Blankets
- Pillows
- Tents, swags
- Non-perishable food items
- Bottled water
- Outdoor cooking equipment and accessories
