Culture Club would like to invite family members to attend their performance on Wednesday 10 June in the Gavin Bird School Hall. The students are working extremely hard, dedicating their time every Monday afternoon to practise for their upcoming Showcase Performances. The students are very excited to perform and would be delighted if you could attend. They will be doing two performances, one for the Junior School and one for the Senior School.

Our Prep students have been busy little learners, working hard on their counting, exploring lifecycles, practising their letters, and becoming experts at labelling their work. We are so proud of all their efforts!

📢 Academic Excellence Year 6 Trials Postponed 📢

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Academic Excellence Year 6 Trials have been postponed.

We are still accepting applications for the program and encourage all in catchment students to continue submitting their applications. Once a new trial date has been confirmed, communication will be sent out to all applicants and families.

Due to the weather and state of the grounds, interschool sport has been cancelled for Friday the 29th May.

Thank you to ADRA Australia and Merciful Servants Au for generously donating sausages and bread for our community breakfast today.

Shout out to Kingston State College and Mabel Park State High School Youth Workers for making it possible for us to cook and serve 800 sausages.

These valuable connections continue to strengthen our community partnerships and support opportunities for our students and families. Thank you for helping us build a stronger community together.

Tomorrow at 12:00pm, classrooms and communities across Australia will come alive as teachers and students join together for National Simultaneous Storytime — one of the nation’s most loved literacy celebrations!
