Services, providers, educators, parents and carers are invited to share their views on CCTV use in early childhood settings through a short survey.
KPMG has been appointed by the Australian Government Department of Education to conduct an evaluation of the nation-wide Assessment of CCTV in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) settings.
Your feedback will help capture a range of perspectives and ensure that different voices are heard.
The surveys are open now and will close at 6:00pm on 18 June 2026. Participation is voluntary and responses are anonymous.
You can access the surveys using the links below:

Let's celebrate everything that makes our state great – from our stunning landscapes to our vibrant communities. We’re proud to support Queensland’s youngest learners and their families through quality early education and care.
👶✨ Early childhood education lays the foundation for a bright future, helping our little Queenslanders grow, learn, and thrive. Whether it’s through play-based learning, nurturing environments, or fostering curiosity, you’re building the skills and confidence that will shape tomorrow’s leaders.
Let’s celebrate the educators, families, and communities who make a difference every day in the lives of our children. Together, we’re creating a stronger Queensland for generations to come.

🛡️ Approved providers must notify the Regulatory Authority of inappropriate conduct by educators, including incidents or allegations of physical or sexual abuse.
📅 From 1 July 2026, when the Reportable Conduct Scheme begins, these incidents and allegations must also be reported to the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC).

We’re just a few weeks out from Queensland’s Reportable Conduct Scheme becoming operational on 1 July, and if your organisation needs to implement it you’ll have questions about what’s involved in making a report – how to notify us if you receive concerns, what information we’ll need and when, and what your obligations are at each stage of the process.
It’s available on our website, at: https://www.qfcc.qld.gov.au/childsafe/reportable-conduct-scheme/what-does-organisation-need-do/how-report
Don’t forget our implementation guideline is also there to help you understand and meet your obligations, and steps you through each stage of the process including reporting and notifications, investigations, and risk management.
We’re also holding webinars throughout June to help organisations get on board – they're filling up quickly so find dates and register your spot today at: https://www.qfcc.qld.gov.au/childsafe/reportable-conduct-scheme/resources
