Please share far and wide!
Some can't handle "straight from the horses mouth".
I get it, all politicians are "dodgy".
I put my hand up because I am tired of the nincompoots that are the puppets following the string pulls and even though Rennick was ex Liberal (I have always been anti the 3 main parties on principle) he spoke reasoning and SOLITIONS, plus he didn't care if he was voted in as long as his policies were caught on.
Yes there is wheeling and dealing when it comes to people and money, there always has been, always will.
We need to lay it on the table, cast away the shadows and live in the light.
It starts not just with our hearts, but our heads and our National resourses and the use of a financial system (both good and bad) and the structure of our laws (uncorroded)
Great write up.
WA and SA are starting to roar (plus the Farrer Farmer pocket of NSW) .... may QLD join the call.

TAKE THE TIME TO LOOK UP: Gerard Rennick
While everyone’s losing their mind over One Nation, there’s a bloke barely getting a mention who actually says what he means.
Gerard Rennick. Former Queensland Senator. Accountant by trade. Started in the LNP, lost his Senate preselection in 2023, fought it through an internal appeal and then the Supreme Court, and after that failed, started his own show — the People First Party.
Here’s what he’s actually fighting for. Read it and judge for yourself.
Tax that backs the battler
- Lift the tax-free threshold from $18,200 to $45,000 — around $4,000 back in your pocket
- Cut company tax to 12% to keep jobs and money onshore
- Make the first $25,000 of super tax-free
- Cap negative gearing at $5,000 per person
- Hit the multinationals shipping profits offshore with a 20% withholding tax
Backing families and everyday Aussies
- Childcare subsidies paid direct to parents — you choose the care
- Bring back a public bank so branches stay open and people can actually bank
Cutting the waste
- Make super voluntary — your money, your call
- A Federal Convention to end the duplication between state and federal bureaucracies
- Take an axe to government waste
Standing up for the country
- Wind back mass immigration
- Drop net zero, leave the Paris Agreement, back coal, gas and nuclear
- Pull out of the WHO
- Defend free speech against new speech-restriction laws
Agree with all of it or not, that’s not the point. The point is he holds a position and sticks to it, even when it cuts against his own side. How many in Canberra can you say that about?
The majors have spent years saying whatever keeps them in the chair. This bloke’s been saying the same thing whether anyone’s listening or not.
I’m not telling you who to vote for. I’m saying he’s worth a look, because someone in this country should be.
Who else have you seen actually stand for something lately?
What’s your thoughts…?
Peter Lyndon-James 🇦🇺
CORRECTION: An earlier version said Rennick “walked away when it stopped standing for anything.” That’s not accurate, he lost LNP preselection in 2023, challenged it (including in the Supreme Court), and formed People First in 2024 only after that failed. Corrected, with thanks to the reader who pulled me up.

While the rest of the nation gets hit with higher capital gains tax, there’s a special carve-out for foreign investors in renewable energy.
They get to keep the 50% CGT discount at a cost of $425 million to the taxpayer.
Foreign investors already don’t pay Capital Gains tax on shares and intangible assets. Why didn’t Chalmers crack down on them?
The answer of course is that the Labor party, like the Liberal party are controlled by foreign interests.!
But wait there’s more.
Under the capacity investment scheme underwriting agreements, if the actual revenue earned by a project is below the agreed revenue floor, the Australian government will pay the project operator 90 per cent of the revenue shortfall up to the agreed annual cap for 15 yrs. (see comments)
The Labor government will grant “whatever it takes” subsidies to ensure “renewable” energy is a part of the energy grid, no matter the cost to the taxpayer.
But in keeping with the government vibe of transparency the cost of the scheme can’t be disclosed and I quote.
“The CIS is listed in the budget papers as a contingent liability, alongside the Snowy 2.0 hydro electric scheme, which has already blown out in costs by billions.
According to the budget papers, "The Australian government's maximum liability and estimated payments under these (CIS) agreements are not for publication due to commercial sensitivities".
It’s not hard to see why the major parties are struggling. Wasting taxpayers money and refusing to disclose it has to stop.

The debacle called Snowy 2.0 is why peoplefirstparty.au has a policy to introduce military apprenticeship scheme.
Australians should not be held to ransom by foreign contractors and grifters in the private sector.
We need to train our own children how to build things efficiently, effectively and with integrity.
Successive Australian governments have destroyed our trade sector so that we are totally vulnerable to exploitation.
We are the only party who has real solutions to the structural economic issues that is crippling Australia.

“The Italian contractor building the budget-plagued Snowy Hydro 2.0 has marked its Australian performance as "fantastic", while hailing the Albanese government for abandoning its confrontational approach with major infrastructure partners.
Italy's Webuild managed to negotiate its multi-billion dollar contract to a cost-plus model where Snowy covers some of its contractor's cost inflation on the massive pumped hydro expansion while paying an agreed profit margin on top.”
And
“Big Government is the ultimate racket. The costs have been hidden, the FOIs denied, the Unions are raking in the cash, and a foreign corporation is soaking in easy money. And in the end, the stored power is likely to be a horrible $200/kWh, making it 6 times the price of brown coal plant power.
There is something in this project for every grifter. The incompetent management delays have added $8b in interest during construction. That will keep the Bankers happy.
There are 3,000 extra workers nobody thought we’d need and they earn $250,000 each on average.
And there is now $12 billion in interconnector high-voltage line costs. Like all “renewable” projects, the fuel is free but the cost to collect and distribute it burns like a magnesium flare.”

52 of the 52 centres are in - I will conclude now the end for my Electorate.
Although Labor was voted in at 42%
LNP came in 2nd (Henry would have made the best leader from a personal perspective not a party one.
Moreton missed out this year on a fine young man.
Followed by Greens only at 22% - thank goodness.
One Nation followed closely by People First and closer still Trumpet of Patriots.
Then Family First, Citizens Party and finally United Party.
Bummer I slipped slightly to 5th was hoping for 4th
HOWEVER, if I am still in Moreton I will do it again next election for our party unless there is a better representative (you will have my backing 100% and help).
Remember People First Party was started December 24.
Our team and volunteers have done an amazing job in all aspects required to get this political show on the road.
It is the only Electorate I know and pretty much the only one I fully utilise personally other than my little pocket of West End and Highgate Hill.
Thank you again for everyone, including the "slimy tactics" who made me realise how important it is to stamp this type of behaviour out. Period.
Bring in play fair, healthy competition, poise and respectfulness without the ridiculous under and slight of hand tactics that embody foolishness, reflected in the higher branches and worst yet policies.
Again much love and thank you to you ALL ✨️
Keep politicians accountable
That's our job now as the public they serve us.
Please do not forget this ❤️

Good Morning Moreton
It is E-Day.
Catch you on the campaign Trail.
Remember about 70% of Australia will Vote today.
Senator Gerard Rennick has not only challenged the major parties on his simple solutions has also encouraged them to use it.
