This account is monitored between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday AEST, excluding weekends and public holidays (in Brisbane). We make all reasonable efforts to moderate and respond to comments and questions raised via the comments function, where appropriate. However, if you do have a question or concern and would like a response please contact us via direct message, phone or
email. We will endeavour to respond to you within 24 hours of contact (excluding weekends and public holidays). You should contact us by phone, email or in writing if you wish to submit:
• formal response to an item open for public consultation
• formal request, comment or enquiry
• complaint against staff or services. We encourage the expressions of opinions and open discussions on our account. However, we ask that you always act respectfully and responsibly and keep your comments appropriate. We reserve the sole right to review, edit and/or delete any comments or posts that contain the following:
• profanities, vulgar or abusive language
• personal attacks, hate or discrimination towards community members and other users of the sites including staff members
• direct reference to information which identifies a person, irrespective of the tone
• spam, third party solicitations or advertisements which promote any services or products
• attempts to defame site users, businesses, the Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government, and Planning (DSDILGP) or other Queensland Government agencies
• promotion or encouragement of illegal activity
• anything that promotes party political references
• anything else which the Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government, and Planning (DSDILGP) deems inappropriate. Anyone who repeatedly violates this policy may be permanently blocked from engaging on our page and reported to appropriate authorities.
