Great opportunity for cadets thinking about applying for university entry.

In Victoria, La Trobe University has the Aspire program which recognises cadet experience and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

Did you know that some universities recognise your cadet experience and Duke of Edinburgh awards boosting your chances of selection?

The adult volunteers are often doing hard work behind the scenes and in their spare time making sure activities go ahead for the cadets.

They are the centre of gravity, without whom the program would not run.

Thank you to the Officers of Cadets and Defence Approved Helpers who enable the cadets.

VOLUNTEERS WHO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Behind every successful activity, field exercise, and leadership lesson is a team of dedicated volunteers giving their time, experience, and support to help shape the next generation of Army Cadets across Australia.

To all Army Cadet Staff (ACS) and Defence Approved Helpers (DAH) - thank you for your continued commitment, mentorship, and service.

Your efforts make a real difference every day.

Last Day of Ex Chimera

The cadets are almost done and will be back with their families soon where they’ll probably need a shower.

Check out our cadets in action and an interesting way to flatten an 11x11 tent prior to folding! 😂

Halfway through Ex Chimera with lots of smiling faces! Our cadets will have lots of stories to share when they come home.

More photos to come.

The cadets are getting into their scenario based training this weekend rendering first aid to a role player and practicing stretcher carrying.
