Tonight Bruthen Fire Brigade undertook annual Entrapment and Hazardous Tree training. This training is imperative for crew safety, and is done every year.

This year we got to use the District 10 spare tanker as ours is currently undergoing its normal servicing. It was good to see how a different tanker works, as there are many different appliances in CFA. This keeps all members adept at using different vehicles.

As we now prepare for the upcoming fire season, we welcome everyone in our neighbourhood to our Get Fire Ready day next month, where you will be able to ask firefighters about property preparation, smoke alarms, fire plans, plus more. See you on Sat 10 October from 11am till 2pm in main street Bruthen.
