Day for Daniel – Wear Red!
This Friday, we will be recognising Day for Daniel, Australia’s largest child safety education and awareness day. The day honours the memory of Daniel Morcombe and promotes the importance of keeping children safe through education, awareness and open conversations about personal safety.
At Bucasia State School, we encourage our students to learn how to recognise unsafe situations, speak up when something doesn’t feel right and identify trusted adults they can turn to for help.

A reminder for families: Students are encouraged to wear a red shirt to school to show their support for Day for Daniel. Students should wear their usual school uniform for the remainder of their clothing. Together, we can help empower children with the knowledge and confidence to stay safe.
