Proud to event manage Oxford Street Bulimba Marketing's Traders Twilight Tinseltime at Oxford 2025, celebrating the spirit, diversity, and resilience of our local business community. It was wonderful to see representation from across our riverside urban village - Bulimba, Hawthorne, Balmoral, and Morningside in Brisbane, Queensland - and a mix of industries that continue to drive our local economy.
Recent data shows a strong and diverse local jobs market spanning manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, education, hospitality, construction, and professional services. These industries contribute significantly to the economic strength of our urban village, and to the greater Brisbane economy.
A special thank you to our enduring event sponsors, including ALH Hotels' Oxford 152 for generously hosting us. Their recent almost $2m upgrade has elevated our precinct experience and strengthened our position as a vibrant destination for residents, workers, and visitors. Gratitude also to Bulimba Studios for their continued support and partnership.
Since launching Oxford Street Bulimba Marketing in 2011, I have witnessed our precinct evolve into a thriving ecosystem of more than 4,000 businesses, both brick and mortar, and home-based. Together, we have created and retained local jobs, encouraged new investment, supported to enhance public spaces, and built a reputation that positions Oxford Street Bulimba and beyond as one of Brisbane’s most vibrant urban villages.
Collaboration remains our greatest strength. When we share knowledge, partner across supply chains, and champion each other’s success, we build prosperity for our own enterprises, as well as for the broader city economy. Looking ahead, Oxford Street Bulimba Marketing is excited to continue nurturing these connections through our quarterly evening events, so please join us.
