HAPPENING NOW: Greens Senator Jordon Steele-John says he's NOT on leave - directly contradicting his new leader, David Shoebridge, who says that the senator IS on leave.

Last week, we found out about a 47-page secret dossier with allegations against Steele-John since 2016, and how to handle them if they were made public.

It's as plain as day that David Shoebridge has lost control of his party.

Now, the question locally is: why does candidate Mandy Nolan support a party that treats women this way?

Today, we officially launched my campaign for Ballina at the March 2027 State Election.

Covering the beautiful Ballina and Byron Shires, the Ballina electorate needs a voice in government to get things done. I'm running to be that voice.

I love our area. It's home. Many of you will already know me from my work around the place - whether that be fundraising for local community groups, through local choirs or as a local councillor.

Now, I want to bring my experience of delivering for our community to the next level. Health, education, cost-of-living, the arts and the environment are all areas that I care about deeply.

After 40 years of the Nationals and the Greens locally, we finally have a chance for change.

We need a voice at the table so that our issues are heard at the highest levels of government. I'm running to be your voice, and I can't wait to meet and hear from you as we ramp up our campaign.

Labor has a migration target of 225,000 - with 70% of places for skilled migrants.

Farley says One Nation’s plan is “not too different” from Labor’s (direct quote)... and in fact, it's higher, at 230,000.

One Nation has confirmed on their website that they will be reviewing the medicines on the PBS - calling these medicines "Government Waste". (Yes, really).

Meanwhile, Labor has capped medicines at $25 - or just $7.70 for concession card holders.

The choice is clear - just like the Liberals and Nationals, One Nation won't back Medicare. Only Labor defends and strengthens Medicare.
