I am extremely limited in what I can do at present for a number of reasons. However, I have been able to witness tree and vegetation removal and other activity on the other side of Cabramatta Creek as development has been taking place. Additionally, the boom in the pics has been damaged since 18/9/2026.

One arrested after pursuit and crash in Bonnyrigg Heights

A man has been arrested following a pursuit and crash in Sydney’s south west.

About 8am today (Friday 23 October 2026), officers attached to Liverpool Police Area Command were patrolling on Cartwright Avenue Cartwright, when they observed a Nissan X Trail with allegedly stolen plates.

When the driver allegedly failed to stop, a pursuit was initiated.

A short time later, the pursuit was terminated on Bolinda Street, Busby.

Police located the car on Brown Road, Bonnyrigg Heights, after it allegedly crashed into a Volkswagen sedan.

The Nissan X Trail caught on fire and three people - two men and one woman – ran from the scene.

The occupants of the other car – a 10-year-old girl and 50-year-old man – were not seriously injured and were assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze.

A short time later, a 30-year-old man was arrested on Dransfield Road, Bonnyrigg Heights.

He has been taken to Liverpool Police Station.

Inquiries continue.

WE DID IT! BALLOON RELEASES BANNED IN NSW! 🐢♥️🩷

Here’s the truth: balloons kill animals. Turtles mistake them for food. They’ve been found in the stomachs of seabirds. And wildlife become entangled in their strings, or slowly starve after swallowing them.

A few moments of celebration should never cost an animal their life. For too long, helium balloons have been released into the sky, only to come back down as deadly litter.

To every single person who signed our petition, shared our campaign and helped us push for change - THANK YOU ❤️🩷 And a special thank you to - who have been campaigning for this relentlessly- your persistence has paid off.

Another win for animals - this legislation will save lives. 🐢

Due to further works, a section of Goulburn Street adjacent to the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct redevelopment construction site will be closed to traffic and parking from 5pm Friday 23 October to 5pm Sunday 25 October 2026 during the installation of structural steel.

Detours will be in place and a traffic controller will be on site.

Pedestrians should use the western footpath of Goulburn Street to enter Liverpool Hospital from Entrance A.

Please note, Goulburn Street residents will still be able to enter and exit their property during the works, assisted by traffic controllers as required.

Get excited for our Big Day Out!!

All our congregations will be coming together for a big combined church service and lunch as we look forward to 2027 this Sunday.

Time: 10am-2pm
Date: Sunday 25 October
Location: Prairiewood High School
Cost: $10 / $20 for families to cover school hire and lunch. Or free if you can’t afford it!

Parking: The school carpark will be open, access via Restwell Rd. We’ll be in the school assembly hall.

*NOTE* There will be no 10:30am or 6pm services at Fairfield or 10am at Bossley Park service.
