It was a great morning for Young Labour as we had a band of volunteers out in Bungalow.

We spent the morning spreading the good word about some of the ways the Albanese Labor Government is helping young people build, buy or rent through the following changes:

✅ 5% Deposit Scheme for eligible first-home buyers.
✅ Equalising the playing field with changes to Negative Gearing and the Capital Gains Tax
✅ $43 Billion Investment for the Housing Australia Future Fund
✅ Helping deliver 1.2 million new homes by the end of the decade as part of the National Housing Accord
✅ Partnering with the Queensland Government on 51,000 new homes.

As young people in the region, we welcome these changes as they give us hope for our future and make owning a home feel more achievable everyday.

Young regional voices matter. If you want to know how to get involved and have your say, reach out to us.
