The Cowpastures
The Cowpastures was named by Governor Hunter in 1795 after finding the wild cattle that escaped from Sydney Cove in 1788. It is an ill defined area.
It is an ill defined district that initially consisted of the government reserve and after the 1820s was re-made as a regional identity.
