Gurumba Bigi (G’day in Yuggera) ,
This morning’s Deadly Breakfast was a fantastic celebration of community, connection and culture. Students, staff and community came together to enjoy a shared breakfast and acknowledge the importance of respectful relationships and pride in culture.
A sincere thank you to Ms Unicomb for her outstanding organisation and ongoing support in bringing this event to life, and to Mr Joe Kelly MP for his valued support and for joining our school community to mark the occasion. Events like this continue to strengthen belonging and highlight the importance of coming together in meaningful ways.

📚 Today many of our primary students joined millions of children across Australia for National Simultaneous Storytime 2026, sharing the joy of reading together through this year’s featured book, Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller!
From classrooms to libraries, it was wonderful to see our students engaged in storytelling, imagination and connection as we celebrated the importance of literacy and a love of books.
Thank you to our staff for creating such a fun and memorable experience for our students!

WHSC-run Primary club activities before school and external providers after school this Thursday and Friday.
Due to the recent wet weather, and with further rain forecast, we have made the decision to postpone before school clubs and after school oval usage (on our Primary Campus) for the remainder of this week.
As a result, all WHSC-run club activities (such as soccer and Auskick) scheduled for Thursday and Friday morning will not go ahead.
Information regarding activities run by external providers (such as AFL) will also be communicated directly to families by those providers.
Thank you for your understanding.
