Okay, I know you're going to think this is silly, but please can you sign up now for the 2026 Cycling City Cruise. We want this to be a big joyous event in the Cyclonats Festival so the government and the community can see that cycling matters to lots of people in Canberra. Getting the word out early will really help.

How can how active mobility boost our quality of life?
As part of the Cyclonats Festival of Cycling Culture in Canberra, Teije Gorris, founder of Go-Bility, will share insights on how active mobility is transforming cities worldwide. From Europe to the Philippines, Japan, and even 1940s Canberra, his talk will highlight the power of cycling in shaping healthier, more livable communities.
The event will also feature a screening of the documentary Together We Cycle, which tells the story of how the Netherlands reclaimed its streets for people, not just cars.
