Sustainability isn’t just about what you build, it starts much earlier. 🌱
From how your home sits on the land to how it’s designed, early decisions can shape comfort, efficiency and how your home performs over time.

Simple moments, good company and something growing - even on a rooftop garden. 🌿

Community activities like gardening strengthen wellbeing, foster connections with your neighbours and promote healthier, happier lifestyles.

Did you know that streets in Whitlam celebrate trailblazers in Australian arts and culture? Maggie Scott Terrace is named after Dame Margaret (Maggie) Scott, a ballet dancer, teacher and co-founder of The Australian Ballet company. 🩰

She was instrumental in shaping the future of Australian dance. She was appointed Dame Commander (DBE) in 1981 and Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) in 2005.

She famously returned to the stage in Graeme Murphy’s ‘Nutcracker’ at the age of 78.

💃🏼 From dancers to choreographers, Whitlam’s street names honour the remarkable people whose dedication to arts and culture have enriched Australia’s cultural landscape.

📖👀 Have you seen a street library in your neighbourhood? They are a fun way to share books, reduce waste and foster community connection.
Last week, Mingle hosted residents of North Wright and Whitlam to build a street library for each of their communities.
We look forward to seeing the street libraries ready and full of books for the community to share soon! 📚
