We've come to the end of our 5-week campaign. We have learned so much together with you, discovered so many talented makers, so many eco-conscious minds and sustainable living advocates. We thank you all who supported us along the way and help us become stronger as a campaign.
Our campaign is finishing here but we believe that the story of evolving fibres will continue.

Thank you for using up all your leftovers, every single scrap fabric and unwanted textiles to stuff this cute pouf!!

Made with old fabric scraps and leftovers and stuffed with old fabric scraps and leftovers this is the ultimate scrapbusting project. This is the very lovely and fun to make from .patterns and even better it’s a FREE pattern. Actually, even better is that I’ve used up lots of textiles scraps I had lying around, and it’s even stuffed with things not fit for the charity shop and a couple of old towels. Thanks to my eldest daughter who helped me choose the fabrics and kindly cut out the pieces πŸ˜€

Evolving Fibres

Evolving Fibres has been created for educational purposes only (as part of Swinburne University Online, Communications Design degree), though it fully reflects my personal beliefs and my commitment to a sustainable future. It is a social media campaign focusing on reducing textile waste that goes into landfill. It aims to inspire people to have a creative approach to the way they dress by caring and repairing, refashioning and restyling by using simple sewing skills, and also to help them up-cycle their textile resources in a creative way.
