The High Commission hosted an Eid ul Azha reception in Canberra, bringing together a large number of Pakistani students, young professionals, and members of Pakistani diaspora along with their families to celebrate Eid away from home.
Welcoming the guests, High Commissioner Irfan Shaukat encouraged the students to continue striving for academic excellence.
The event strengthened engagement with the community, fostered networking among students and young professionals, and reinforced community ties.
A traditional rubab performance added a vibrant cultural touch to the celebrations.

High Commissioner Irfan Shaukat hosted a delegation from Pakistan participating in the Australia–Pakistan Technical Biosecurity Workshop. High Commissioner Irfan Shaukat called on Hon. Ben Franklin, President of the Legislative Council of New South Wales, at the Parliament of New South Wales.
