It is our people who will establish our reputation as a provider of high quality services, care and accommodation to the aged community which focus on the individual's right to be treated with dignity and respect. We introduce new initiatives to develop the quality and scope of our services, all our people are encouraged to be innovative and contribute to the constant improvement of our operations. We must do the job right, the first time, to the highest quality standards and incorporating best practice procedures. We encourage a high level of teamwork and integration of work and multiskilling, fostering a positive workplace attitude and us of initiative, mutual understanding and trust.

Our residents at Goodwin Village Ainslie have been baking up a storm! Cupcakes, cookies, slices & dog biscuits were on the menu today for a resident-led RSPCA ACT fundraiser.

With residents Gerry and Fay leading the charge (and everyone getting into the spirit with fabulous masks), the Ainslie community raised a whopping $1,471.55 for the RSPCA! 🐾🎉

A huge congratulations to Gerry, Fay and everyone who baked, helped or stopped by to support the cause. Our furry friends thank you! 💜

We love exhibiting at the COTA ACT Expo for all the wonderful people we get to meet!

Today a VIP guest visited Goodwin Village Araluen; Margaret, who traveled all the way down from Newcastle along with her partner Allan, stopped by to collect the grand prize for our 'Guess How Many Brains' competition. She took home our hamper, picked up a new Goodwin umbrella, and enjoyed a tour around Goodwin Village Araluen.

Thank you for visiting us, Margaret! We hope you enjoy every single treat in that basket and got to know Goodwin a little better! 🧺💜

A well-deserved moment in the spotlight for our Allied Health team! 💜👏

If you've worked with our Goodwin Allied Health team, you'll know just how much of a difference they can make. For many people across our community, that might mean regaining confidence after a fall, improving mobility or simply being able to keep doing the everyday things they love.

And now, their work has been recognised at the 2026 ACT Government Allied Health Excellence Awards! 🎉

Our team was nominated in the Allied Health Team Excellence category for Beyond Care: Enabling Life - a fitting reflection of the work they do every day.

Café Nina at Goodwin Village Farrer was the place to be today, with our resident singers taking centre stage.

With a pianist, plenty of familiar tunes and neighbours gathering to listen, it was a lovely afternoon of music made by the community, for the community. Thank you Farrer Singers! 🎶👏

Spotted! The Goodwin bus in full bloom at Floriade ! 👀🌷🚌

Residents from Goodwin Village Downer, Crace and George Sautelle House have been making the most of Canberra in spring, hopping aboard for their much-loved annual outings.

From wandering through the spectacular blooms to taking in the views from the Ferris wheel, our residents certainly know how to make a day of it! 🎡
