It's a great way to meet people in the OZiHOUSE family beyond your roommates, practice your English, and start the day already happy. Turns out a slice of pizza and a good playlist make talking to new people a lot easier😉

At 2:00 AM on Sunday 4 October, clocks go forward 1 hour (2am becomes 3am). Yes, we lose an hour of sleep😴 but we get longer, brighter evenings for the summer ahead! 💛

Quick tips:
✅Phones and laptops update automatically
✅Double-check your clocks if you have an early Monday class or shift
✅Sunset will be much later, so enjoy that after-class sunshine

Adam O'Neill, Managing Director of Asia Advisory, shared 20 years of experience working with global brands like Tourism Australia, LG, and Rolex — and why trust and relationships are everything when doing business in Asia.

Professor Chris Baumann from Macquarie University introduced the fascinating concept of ""Necro-Branding,"" sparking deep discussion on how brand legacy is evolving in the age of AI.

☀️ A little sneak peek from our first Morning Coffee Club!

Honestly, we didn't expect 25 students to show up at 8am on a Friday morning — but you all proved us so wrong (in the best way)!

🙌 Everyone left with new friends, some English practice, and totally vibing to DJ 's morning groove 🎶
Plus the fluffy pancakes, sausages, fruits, and a warm coffee to kick off the day !!!

💛 joined us during her Melbourne visit — hope it added a little sparkle of fun and some new local friends to your trip!

As the weather warms up and the sun comes out to play, things are only getting better from here... so stay tuned for the next date dropping soon 👀✨

Another great stop on our OZiHOUSE study tour in Sydney!

14 students from the Gyeonggi Youth Ladder Program from Korea🇰🇷 visited The Bread & Butter Project in Marrickville🥐

This social enterprise bakery trains and employs refugees and people seeking asylum — with ~90% of its costs covered by product sales. Program Manager Jessie Wang welcomed the group and answered their questions about how the bakery changes lives.

Tasting the fresh focaccia & muffins, and one student cheekily asked for the recipe😄 (imagine how good it was!!!)

This is what OZiHOUSE study tours are about: going beyond sightseeing to connect students with organisations doing real, meaningful work.
