Today at the Venus Gold Battery we had a film crew from South African TV program Elders ("Elsewhere" in the Afrikaans language) filming our Guide John talking all things Charters Towers, gold mining and even the Venus Gold Battery.

TV Host Erns Grundling and John spent a bit over an hour filming inside the Battery building.

The program will air sometime mid next year on South African TV during the Rugby World Cup.
