Chermside Pool and Water Park now runs under the operation of City Venue Management. Our 25m outdoor pool is heated to 27 degrees year round.

Today, on International Women’s Day, we celebrate the powerful impact women have across every corner of aquatics 💜
From young girls discovering confidence through learning to swim, to female athletes chasing podiums through competitive pathways, women continue to shape the future of aquatic sport. We recognise the women who coach, mentor and inspire, the lifeguards who keep our communities safe, the teachers who build life-saving skills, and the leaders working behind the scenes to grow and innovate our industry.
At every level in the water, on pool deck and beyond, women drive inclusion, strength and progress. Today we celebrate their achievements and the waves they continue to make.

National Day of Mourning
Today, Thursday 22 January at 6:01pm, we pause to remember and honour those tragically lost during the Bondi Beach attack on 14 December.
We invite all our members and visitors to observe a minute of silence with us.

Until 28 February 2026, general entry at all 22 Brisbane City Council pools is just $2, for adults, kids, concessions, family passes and select general-entry products. It’s the perfect way to cool off, stay active and enjoy quality time in the water before summer wraps up.
With more families visiting the pools, water safety remains essential. Council proudly supports the Royal Life Saving Society’s Keep Watch program — stay alert, supervise children closely and always keep watch around water.
