This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, “All In,” reminds us that reconciliation is everyone’s responsibility and that meaningful change happens when we learn, listen, and work together.
Throughout the week, the children explored the meaning of reconciliation through stories, discussions, and videos that supported their understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and connections to Country.
After reading Finding Our Heart, the children created colourful polymer clay hearts as part of the Sea of Hearts initiative. Each heart represents our commitment to kindness, respect, learning, and reconciliation.
