Our thanks to Community Bank Dandenong Ranges for their ongoing support, especially Elkie for nominating us for this generous donation.
It's fantastic to be recognised by the community for what we do.
At Community Bank Upwey & District and Emerald & District, we’re excited to share something special… our 2026 Staff Grant Program!
Each of our staff members was given the opportunity to choose and surprise a local community group they’re passionate about supporting. Because our team works with the community every day, they see firsthand the incredible work being done and were absolutely thrilled to support a local group with a surprise $1,500 donation. 💛
We’re excited to share these moments with you over the coming weeks.
9️⃣ Our ninth presentation was made by Jenni on behalf of Elkie Duck, our Customer Service Officer, who works in both our Upwey and Emerald branches.
Elkie chose to support the Cockatoo CFA, recognising the important role it plays in the community and the dedication of its volunteers.
📷 Jenni is pictured with Captain Marcus Harris.
Stay tuned as we continue to celebrate the groups our team has selected to support!

Lest We Forget
We have just been advised that a planned burn may go ahead this Saturday in Wright Forest near the end of Moola Rd. Please consider this if you live in the area or are planning on using the park this weekend.
There will be many planned burns around the state this weekend, consider the advise from FFMV if you are travelling to and around parks.
Have a great Easter.

Planned Burn at 3rd Ave area has started, smoke will be visible for some time.
20/03/2026
Please be aware there will be a planned Burn in the Area of 3rd Ave Cockatoo tomorrow afternoon into the evening. Expect to see a number of Fire appliances in the area and columns of smoke.
Thanks to all the supporting brigades and members who are attending and working to make our area safer. And to CFA South East Region and for planning and preparation.
Update for today.
Our crews remain on standby to respond, but no concerns at this stage.
We are expecting to be impacted by smoke from the Kerrisdale fire ahead of the change which is expected between 5-7PM (1700-1900h) tonight.
Please be mindful of this and reserve emergency calls if you see flames or smoke columns in view.
We are expecting wind and possible thunderstorms, but again there are no local fire concerns.
