Good vibes, great food, and a stunning sunset 🌅 Treeby Reserve delivered for the City of Cockburn Good Friday Bites Night!

⚠️ Armadale Road roundabout at Liddelow Road and Torwood Avenue in Treeby 🚗

During the last local council election, traffic congestion on Armadale Road—particularly at the Liddelow Road and Torwood Avenue roundabout—was a key concern raised with me.

Armadale Road is a Primary Regional Road under the control of Main Roads WA, which has advised there are currently no plans to replace the roundabout with traffic signals.

This month, Main Roads commenced an investigation, engaging a consultant to undertake traffic surveys and modelling along the Armadale Road corridor between Kwinana Freeway and Tonkin Highway. This includes assessing the feasibility of traffic signals at the Armadale Road/Liddelow Road/Torwood Avenue roundabout as part of potential future upgrades.

The work is at feasibility stage, subject to further design, modelling, approvals, and funding. No community consultation is planned at this stage, and the investigation is expected to conclude by the end of 2026.
