A big congratulations to Giancarlo, who got his P’s today on his very first attempt! 🚗🎉

Giancarlo has been receiving support from our Grafton team since February 2024, and getting his licence is a huge step towards his employment goals.

Having his P’s opens up more opportunities for Giancarlo, and he’s already excited to add his licence to his resume and start applying for more jobs!

Thanks to his support worker Nick and the Uniting Driving Program for helping him along the way.

What a great achievement, Giancarlo! You should be really proud of yourself! 🙌

What a great day last Thursday at the World Mental Health Day community event! 💚
Our Key team loved getting out and about, meeting new people and seeing so many local organisations come together.
We were kept busy all day with the Key Ice Cream Cart 🍦 Thanks to everyone who stopped by for a scoop and a chat!
And a big thanks to the organisers for putting on such a great event.

👋🏻 Meet Jess!

Role: Executive Operations Manager
Based in: Kempsey, NSW

What Jess loves about her role: Jess enjoys having the ability to make an actual difference in the lives of people with disability. Providing support and encouragement, empowering people to develop skills, overcome barriers and make sustainable changes to improve their circumstances and live a life with meaning and purpose. Jess understands that not everyone has had the same opportunities she had growing up, and being able to provide some of those opportunities to others makes her job so rewarding.

Why being local matters to Jess: Being local and community-focused allows Jess to truly understand the people she works with and the challenges they face in the local area. Being connected within the community means she can build genuine relationships and ensure the work Key does reflects real local experiences. Being able to give back to the communities we live in is incredibly fulfilling and rewarding.

Outside of work: Jess enjoys spending time with family and friends, anything sport-related, travelling and is a sucker for live music, festivals and concerts.

Fun fact: Jess cannot stand cheese! 🧀😂

Reviews like this mean so much to our team 💛

At the end of the day, we just want to help people reach their goals and feel supported along the way. Hearing that it's making a difference is the best part of the job.

Thanks so much for taking the time to share this with us.

We all have jobs we’d be terrible at 😂 just ask our staff. Finding the right role isn’t about squeezing someone into whatever’s available - it’s about actually knowing the person. What they’re good at, what they enjoy, what fits their life.

That’s what our Employment Consultants show up to do every day - help people find work that actually works for them.

If that sounds like support you or someone you know could use, visit our website or give us a call to find out more.

Some of our favourite shots from the Key Charity Golf Day ⛳

Thanks to the local businesses who got behind it, had a hit and helped raise funds for the work Key does across our communities.

20 teams came out and made it what it was. Here's a look at everyone who gave it a go and kept the energy up from start to finish.
