———— IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC—————
Due to the unfolding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic crisis around the world, and ban on Non-Essential gatherings by the Australian Government in an attempt to prevent further spread of the COVID-19 virus, it has been discussed by members of the Colonial Re-enactment Society Inc, and decided that in the interest of Health and Safety, the Society will not participate in any Re-enactments or social dinners until further notice. This includes the Victorian are-enactment Society’s Queen Victoria Dinner in June, ANZAC Day at Noble Park RSL and any re-enactments between now and the end of the Pandemic.
We believe this decision has been made in the best interests of our members to help to flatten the curve and protect members who are at greater risk of contracting this virus if exposed to it, any family members who might be at risk, and the general public.
Members please refrain from attending meetings, as there will be no weekly meetings for you to attend until the end of this Pandemic.
We intend, as a Society, to resume re-enactments once the pandemic has come to an end and look forward to seeing you again on re-enactments.
Thank you very much,
Sparrow.

Hey guys Sparrow again,
As promised, some of the photos from our Queen Victoria Waterloo Dinner back in June.

Evening Guys, Sparrow here.
I’m sorry you haven’t heard from us for a while, sadly things have been very quiet! I have photos yet to post from our Waterloo Dinner back in June, and will get around to those in a minute.
On Remembrance Day, members, teamed with some last minute Ring-in’s, participated in Noble Park RSL’s Remembrance Day Service, with Little Alex making his debut into the world of Re-enactment in an original 1901 Victorian Mounted Rifles Officer’s Son’s Uniform! Massive thanks to members who could attend, and our last minute ring in, Dylan, who did a fantastic job portraying the Australian Light Horse of the First World War!
