🌟🎶 Tomorrow our amazing Junior Voices and Beat Boys will be performing at a very special community event - Coolum HeARTs "Sing Out" for Mental Health Week. We are very proud of these young singers representing our school for such an important cause.

🌟🎶 All are welcome to attend a morning of excellent entertainment, held in our PCC hall, from 10am and admission is free. We would love to see lots of our school community supporting our singers and the wonderful Coolum HeARTs.

Please be aware there are magpies nesting near the junior oval. The magpies haven’t been bothering our students, however adults walking across the oval in isolation towards the year 1 classrooms are a target. It is recommended you have your umbrella up rain, hail, or shine to promote a safe passage.

This term in English in Year 3, students learnt all about how to use features of voice, structures and language devices to create persuasive speeches to share their arguments and convince an audience. For their recent assessment task, students created and presented a persuasive speech to their class and teacher about an activity that should be included in an end of term 'Year 3 Day' celebration. Well, they must have been convincing because today we had finger knitting, Oz Tag games, cookie decorating, a disco, drawing, origami, bowling, skipping, bracelet making and much more all pitched by our very persuasive Year 3 students. What a great way to wrap up learning!
