Queensland Rail has advised that the Cooroy Station footbridge will be temporarily closed on Monday 26 October and Tuesday 27 October 2026 while tower posts are replaced as part of ongoing maintenance works.

Works will take place between 6:00am and 6:00pm each day. To minimise disruption to school students and other commuters, the bridge will be fully closed to pedestrians between 9:00am and 2:30pm, and will remain accessible outside these hours, including overnight. Traffic control will also be in place from 6:00am to 6:00pm.

🌟 Friday Fun in 1C! 🌟

Who says learning sight words can't be fun? 🎉

Today, 1C enjoyed learning and practising their sight words through fun, hands-on activities! Using age-appropriate, play-based learning experiences, we kept our little learners engaged, active and smiling while building their reading confidence. 📚✨

Learning through play is the best kind of Friday fun! 💛
